New Essay

I wanted to share the link to my latest essay, published Monday in Terrain.org:

And also to pique your interest, please keep checking back for a forthcoming post, Notes from a Dry Cabin. Said dry cabin doesn’t include internet, thus my absence from the blog this summer. This has been both refreshing – long lovely hours staring out at white spruce and quaking aspen and the gradually changing light – and frustrating. I feel cut off from many of you. So know that I am still alive and writing, and will update soon.
